You can financially support and build the ministry at St. Augustine’s Newman Center in 4 ways: (see below for where your tax-deductible donations go!)

Your donations help our students in a variety of ways and YOU have the ability to designate where your support assists us best!
We currently work tirelessly to provide a strong Campus Ministry with new programming and solid outreach on the UW-Platteville Campus community. Your donations go toward the projects of the Campus Ministers and Campus Minister Associates. Campus Ministry is vital to the mission of our Catholic Newman Community, because without it, we have very limited resources to reach out to those on campus, as well as to run the existing programs at St. Augustine. Please help us bring Jesus Christ to these students and ensure that they receive the Catholic ministry that they deserve!
Our parish is made up of student and community parishioners. On Sunday mornings during the school year, the pews are filled with students - who account for about 80% of our total parishioners. We love our students here the Catholic Newman Center and to continue to be able to serve them properly in their faith formation, we need outside financial support. We need your support to ensure that our building always remains open and that we can have staff available for both the college students and parishioners!
Did you know you can have your money go directly to the students’ fund for the Catholic Newman Community? That's Right! You can directly help the students with their mission work, personal outreach, and of course the always popular Wednesday night Newman Dinner - which regularly feeds almost 100 students weekly for free!! Our students fundraise all school year to enable them to go to on mission trips to Mississippi and to attend important conferences and retreats. Your donations will help us to offset the costs of these very important aspects of the Newman Community!
We are in the process of a capital campaign to build a residence hall for the students and a new Catholic Newman Center. In December 2017 we started building the residence hall, which will be open to students in the Fall of 2018! We will continue our fundraising efforts so we can build a new Catholic Newman Center and Chapel in the near future. This is an exciting venture for us here at St. Augustine, for the City of Platteville and most especially for the students who will be better served in a bigger space that allows them to live their faith more fully.
