What is the St. Matthias Institute?

The St. Matthias Institute of Catholic Studies is an initiative of St. Augustine University Parish offering students an authentic intellectual formation in the rich Catholic theological and philosophical tradition. Partnering with various institutions such as the Augustine Institute and the Christendom Graduate School of Theology, students and parishioners are given a foundation in Catholic theology and philosophy. This formation aims to foster a deeper love for Our Lord and offer the indispensable tools for bringing catechesis to their parishes after college.
